Friday - sadly our last day

Yet another beautiful sunny day with great snow on quite pistes - what more could a skier or boarder want?

The party again split up, some to Valtourneche, some Plateau Rosa, some in town. Highlight of my day was being almost the last person on a chairlift before it closed and being hurried of the mountain by the piste police at the end of the day. I can't recall skiing so much for so long. For others the highlight was skiing a "black" for the first time this holiday

Party all met up in TV room proir to another excellent dinner. No doubt that each of us will have gained significant weight. Some of the party can't wait to get back to basic food especially Sue who said she was looking forward to eating a plate of lettuce when she gets home!!!!!!

Holiday Awards , voted on by the entire party, caused much laughter. Cameras and videos were a-clicking so some happy memories.

Winners were -best fall skier -Marc: Best fall boarder -Timster. Fashion faux par - Lucy's pink jacket (Steve produced last year's winners yellow hat for Lucy to wear) Star of Cervinia (nicest, kindest person) - Alan. Most improved skier/boarder -Claire Mini Parker who has come on a bundle

Everyone thanked the hotel staff for helping make our holiday a success - roll on 2010
